I just wanted to thank you again for sharing your family’s cabin with our family. The kids are still talking about it. Mackenzie made a video of the weekend for Kevin’s birthday. Good memories.

We had a great time at your place!! The rest of my family all thought I did a great job of picking a place to stay. One of my brothers couldn’t believe anyone would let someone else stay in such a nice place (your home). I went downstairs at one point and every game had people playing while there was a card game upstairs. The information and directions you sent and left there were perfect. I had never been to Ausable Forks before… Good to know such a big town was just up the road.

We had a great time, but I cant believe how brave you are for having so many beautiful things and personal things in your cabin…It made us feel so at home and so comfortable….but I was so worried for you….All the other houses we rent in the acres are furnished with garage sale furnishings or left over old couches and beds and chairs, certainly not expensive things…but is was such a nice change…

We just got back from our 3 days at your cabin. Thanks so much for answering the phone on Sunday night and being so accommodating at the last minute. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and we are very interested in renting it again in August if there is availability.

We have enjoyed staying in your cabin. Everybody loved it. I personally think it was the best winter cabin we have stayed so far. Though weather was not good, we skied twice and skated also twice. Hopefully we will come to your cabin again.

We received the deposit , thank you. We all wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful time at your place. It was comfortable , spacious ,and well furnished. Our kids liked being able to go fishing and going on the canoe. We also wanted to tell you that the way you depicted your home on your web site was really the way it was. We’ve had the experience of going to places and finding that they were not as described or pictured. You can imagine the wonderful surprise we had when we saw your place. Thank you. We also wanted to say thank you for saying that it’ll be ok to rent again and not have to send a deposit. We are hoping that we can head out to Jay again. It was a lot of fun. Race went great…….I enjoyed every minute of it !!! The cabin was wonderful . The kids loved the tree faces , animals and the driveway the most !! Thanks again, We are hoping to be coming back soon, Michelle
When we told our friends that we had rented a cabin over the internet they all shook their heads and said “good luck”. Well, we did have good luck because the cabin was even nicer than the pictures. Once more I want to say thank you for the use of your great cabin. We felt like we were staying in the home of a friend. We hit almost peak color for the season and got terrific pictures. Because there were 8 of us we weren’t sure about a whole week together, but we hardly saw each since there was lots to do. I did just as I planned to do–read and relax. The kids went sight seeing and shopping in Placid. Some went fishing and some went canoeing. We all got together in the evenings to enjoy s’mores over the fire pit. Of course, we all had our turn at playing air hockey and foosball with our 11 year grandson. (We won’t say who won.) Now our friends are hoping we can come up next year with them if all goes well. In a hectic life it is great to know that there are offers of kindness. Steve and I had a wonderful time at this serene and peaceful getaway. My daughters absolutely love it here. It’s atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing. Thank you for inviting and sharing with us . We will remember the moments spent here for a very long time. Thanks again for sharing with us such a special place.!

I would like to thank you very much for allowing us to rent your home. It was such a pleasure staying in such a comfortable cabin. You have decorated it so nicely and it was so cozy. The location is great ! I did not have a chance to write in the comments book , but I wanted to tell you that my family had a wonderful time . The game room downstairs was a Godsend with the children ! Your electric buck was their favorite thing . ! Thanks, Jennifer
